Quick and Easy Recipe - Marinated Vegetables

Ingredients :

4 cups of vegetables. My vegetables of choice :

  • Sliced Mushrooms
  • Sliced Onions
  • Sliced Zucchini or Cucumbers
  • Grilled Eggplants or Peppers
  • Steamed Cauliflower florets
  • Young Corn
  • Olives
  • Boiled Sugar beets
  • Cooked chick-peas
1 250-ml bottle of French or Italian dressing (1 cup)
Salt, pepper, and sugar to taste

Procedure :

1. Place your vegetables of choice in a glass bowl or container.

2. Add your salt, pepper and sugar to taste then toss well. (May be prepared a day in advance)

3. Place the vegetables on a hot grill and wait until slightly toasted.

This is a quick and easy salad recipe that can be whipped up at short notice. It is very versatile as its flavor and texture vary according to one's choice of vegetables. The salad must be sweetened and salted to temper the salad's dressing's acidity.
